25th February, 2009 The President The Stock Exchange of Thailand Dear Sir, Clarification on Operating Results for the Year 2008 The Company's operating results for the year 2008, which have been certified by the external auditors, showed a Net Profit of THB 21.77 million, an increase of THB 18.46 million, or 557.23% improvement versus prior year. This improvement in Net Profit was due to the following reasons: 1. Net Sales Revenue increased by THB 209.55 million or 8.97%, driven by an increase in sales volume growth. However, Cost of Goods increased by THB 220.78 million or 12.56%, driven by an increase in raw materials price and transfer price of finished products. As a result, the company's Gross Profit decreased by THB 11.23 million or 1.94% versus prior year. 2. Marketing support fund from Coca-Cola Thailand increased by THB 30.95 million or 18.14% 3. Selling and administrative expenses decreased by THB 10.51 million or 1.35%. This was due to right-sizing programme since the end of the year 2007, the focus on staff training and management efforts to reduce operating costs.
