14th August, 2008 The President The Stock Exchange of Thailand Dear Sir, Clarification on Operating Results for the Six-Month Periods of 2008 The Company's operating results for the six-month periods of 2008, which have been reviewed by external auditors, showed a Net Profit of THB 13.02 million, an increase of THB 18.83 million, or exceeded a 20% improvement versus prior year. This improvement in Net Profit was due to the following three reasons: 1. Net Sales Revenue increased by THB 55.23 million or 4.60%, driven by an increase in sales volume growth. As a result, the company's Gross Profit increased by THB 13.75 million or 4.65% versus prior year. 2. Marketing support fund from Coca-Cola Thailand increased by THB 24.04 million or 32.64%. 3. Increases in selling and administrative expenses by THB 10.98 million or 2.79% were registered. This was largely due to sales promotion expenses incurred as part of sales effort to the Modern Trade customers, and the higher costs of fuel.
