The major improvement was due to the appropriate marketing strategy "think locally, act locally" as adopted by the Coca-Cola system throughout the world, that resulted in an increase in sales volume of 9.13%, while keeping major expenses low. The company also raised the price of its products in February 2000, except for the 1 litre package, plus the increase in sales volume resulted in higher revenue by Baht million 207.06 an increase of 17.03%.
