The Coca-Cola Foundation Thailand and Thai Red Cross Society Extend 18-Year Legacy with ‘Namthip Gives Back’ Project, Continuing Nationwide Support for Disaster Victims for Three More Years

Bangkok, 3 December 2024 – The Coca-Cola Foundation Thailand, established by the Coca-Cola system in Thailand - comprising ThaiNamthip Corporation Ltd., HaadThip plc., and Coca-Cola (Thailand) Ltd. - has renewed its partnership with the Relief and Community Health Bureau, Thai Red Cross Society, Through a newly signed memorandum of understanding, the 'Namthip Gives Back' project has been extended for another three years (2025 to 2027). This collaboration leverages Coco-Cola’s extensive nationwide logistics network, operated by ThaiNamthip and Haadthip, to ensure swift delivery of ‘Namthip’ drinking water to Thai Red Cross relief units in disaster-affected areas, thereby enhancing the organization's disaster relief capabilities.

“The Coca-Cola Foundation Thailand has always prioritized social and community responsibility as a core mission, aiming to enhance the quality of life across Thai society,” remarked Mr. Dhongchai Sirithorn, Director of the Coca-Cola Foundation Thailand, regarding the partnership’s longevity. “Over the past 18 years, we have been honored to collaborate with the Thai Red Cross Society to support disaster prevention and relief efforts nationwide through the ‘Namthip Gives Back’ project. We are delighted to extend this partnership for another three years with a total budget of 6 million baht. By leveraging Coca-Cola’s extensive distribution network, we will continue to ensure the prompt delivery of Namthip drinking water to those in need. Additionally, we remain steadfast in our commitment to supporting the broader initiatives and activities of the Thai Red Cross Society.”

The renewed ‘Namthip Gives Back’ project will run from 2025 to 2027, with the Coca-Cola Foundation Thailand providing an annual budget of 2 million baht, totaling 6 million baht over the three-year period. The project includes the distribution of ‘Namthip’ 550ml drinking water to disaster-affected areas across the country. To enhance operational efficiency, the Foundation has invested in an online platform (www.namthipgivesback.org), streamlining water requests for Thai Red Cross staff and related agencies. This platform facilitates swift coordination and timely delivery of aid.
