Clarification of News or Information HAAD THIP PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED November 10, 2011 Subject: News Correction Attention: The President The Stock Exchange of Thailand A piece of news appeared in "Than Hoon" newspaper on November 8, 2011 stating that "Haadthip's year end performance should be in an upward position due to spiking number of "Namthip" drinking water sales in Bangkok and other flooded provinces" We want to inform you and our stakeholders that our core business is to manufacture carbonated drinks under Coca-Cola, Fanta, and Sprite brand and distribute them in only our franchised 14 Southern Province territory starting from Chumporn down, to the Thai-Malaysian Border. We are not manufacturing "Namthip" branded water for distribution, but we purchase them from Thainamthip Company Limited to complete our product lines in the Southern region. Recently, three of Thainamthip manufacturing plants (whom we purchase drinking water from) have been severely flooded and finally stopped their operations, resulting sharply in 90% decline in their capacity to manufacture "Namthip" water. And we have not been able to source the water from them. Therefore, the news stated by " Than Hoon" newspaper that our 2011 financial performance of Haadthip Public Company Limited will be improved due to high sales of Namthip water in flooded area is incorrect.
