2nd March, 2010 The President The Stock Exchange of Thailand Dear Sir, Clarification on Operating Results for the Year 2009 The Company's operating results for the year 2009, which have been certified by the external auditors, showed a Net Profit of THB 44.89 million, an increase of THB 23.12 million, or 106.17% improvement versus prior year. This improvement in Net Profit was due to the following four reasons: 1. Net Sales Revenue increased by THB 204.82 million or 8.04%, driven by an increase in sales volume growth. However, Cost of Goods Sold increased by THB 223.43 million or 11.29%, driven by prices of raw materials and finished goods that have seen an increase since mid-year 2008. As a result, the company's Gross Profit decreased by THB 18.61 million or 3.28% versus prior year. 2. Contribution of funds from Coca-Cola Thailand to support marketing activities increased by THB 26.38 million or 13.09%. 3. Other Income decreased by THB 5.18 million or 16.88%. 4. Operating and Administrative expenses decreased by a total of THB 29.90 million or 3.88%, resulting from the lower costs of fuel and management's effort to reduce operating costs.
