Haad Tip Plc reports that during Q2/1997 period it has a net profit of more than 20 percent over the same period a year ago. HTC gives an explanation as follows: 1. The depressed economic situation has forced HTC to undertaken an austerity policy, both on selling costs or various operating expenses by creating understanding among employees to realise the current situation, joining effort to efficiently use power and other resources of the company, pondering atmost of cost effectiveness and maximum usefulness. 2. HTC has also chosen to invest only in the neccessary projects like warehoues explansion, aimed at maintaining its product shares in the market.
