The period of April-June was quite rainy, therefore, reduced the number of tourists that will come to Phuket, Krabi, Samui. 2. The slowing economy, higher cost of living, lower rubber price, palm oil price, and lower fishing revenues and seafood industry. 3. The growth of carbonated drinks in the country for the first half was 4% which was lower than expected by every company. The company, however, had a growth of 6% in the first half of 1996. However, it is expected that the consumption rate in the second-half of the year in the southern part will expand if all the obstacles are eliminated.
