Haadthip Milestones
In 1969, Nakornthip Company Limited was established as the manufacturer and distributor, of Coca-Cola products initially serving three provinces: Songkhla, Satun, and Yala in southern Thailand.
In 1974, a change in management and an increase in capital were led by Second Lieutenant Phairoch Rattakul. The company expanded its manufacturing and distribution operations to cover 14 provinces. Her Royal Highness Princess Sutthasiri Sopha was invited to serve as Chairperson of the Board.
In 1978, Nakornthip Company Limited was renamed HaadThip Company Limited.
In 1988, the company was listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand and became HaadThip Public Company Limited.
In 1998, following the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Sutthasiri Sopha, General Charan Kullavanijaya was appointed Chairman of the Board
In 2011, a PET preform injection molding system was installed at the Hat Yai Plant in Songkhla Province, followed by the Punpin Plant in Surat Thani in 2015.
In 2012, the Punpin Plant was constructed in Surat Thani.
In 2014 - 2015, the company received a royal award, winning first prize at the national level from His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great. The "Golden Vetiver Award" recognized the company as the first private-sector organization in Thailand to receive this honor.
In 2018, the company installed solar panels on its rooftops, followed by the installation of floating solar panels at the Punpin plant in Surat Thani in 2021.
In 2018, Second Lieutenant Phairoch Rattakul passed away, and Major General Patchara Rattakul was appointed Chief Executive Officer.
In 2019, HaadThip celebrated its 50th anniversary and unveiled a new company logo.
In 2020, the production base was relocated to the Punpin Plant in Surat Thani.
Expanding production capacity by:
- Constructing 2nd production building
- Commissioning PET line 3 whose commercial production commencing in March 2023 at the speed of 1,050 bottles per minute
HaadThip was recognized by UN Women’s Thailand Women Empowerment Principles (WEPs) Award.
- Major General Patchara Rattakul, CEO, receiving the Leadership Commitment Award for promoting gender equality
- HaadThip receiving Honorary Mention for Gender-Inclusive Workplace Award
New preform injection machine commissioned at our Punpin plant in Surat Thani. This expansion supports our PET production line, with a capacity of approximately 350 million preforms per year.
Launched 100% recycled PET (rPET) packaging (excluding caps and labels) in 1-litre Coca-Cola Original Taste and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar. The rPET resin used is fully certified by Thai FDA.
Haadthip achieved a 5-star "Excellent" rating in Corporate Governance Review (CGR).
HaadThip was selected by the Stock Exchange of Thailand as one of the 193 listed companies in the “SET ESG Ratings” initiative with an AA rating. This reflects our commitment to sustainable and responsible business practices based on the ESG - Environmental, Social, and Governance - principles.
New glass bottle production line commissioned at our Punpin Plant.
The new glass bottle production line, size 300 ml., produces the first bottle on November 21, 2024, with a production capacity of 800 bottles per minute.
